TIE DYE SHIRT TUTORIAL: GEO TRIANGLE PATTERN
Usually Itajime patterns are made with indigo, but I wanted to use it with tie dye colors. I am using procion dyes (or tie dye) with this traditional Japanese pattern for a cool twist on modern tie dye. I wanted to go with a earthy color palette- inspired by the forrest or camouflage. I did a poll on instagram and people voted to call this color palette "Forrest Scape" I love that name.

Itajime Shibori Tutorial- Equilateral Triangle
This is one of my favorite patterns hands down! It's modern and geometric. You can make it more white or more blue depending on the size of the fold. I did this one with mostly white- I think it looks very understated and delicate. Click for Supply List.
Fourth of July Tie Dye Tutorial
I wanted to try something fun and festive for the Fourth of July this year. I was inspired by people in my online shibori classes, being resourceful when they couldn't get their hands on indigo. They would buy Rit Dye or tie dye kits! The Shibori folding techniques can be applied to tie dye and you can have a lot of fun mixing the colors!
